Asset Transfer: Merging wallets transfers all assets, including the reserved 2 XLM (required for Stellar network transactions), from the source wallet to the destination wallet.
Source Wallet Removal: The source wallet (the one being merged) is removed from the Stellar network ledger. It will no longer exist as a separate entity.
Irreversible Action: Wallet merging is a permanent action. Once completed, it cannot be undone.
To successfully merge two wallets, you must first remove all trustlines (balances) from the wallet being merged except for XLM. This ensures that the merge can proceed without issues. Learn more about removing trustlines in this separate guide.
Backup: Ensure you have a secure backup of the destination walletโs Seed Phrase and Secret Key. This ensures you can recover your combined assets if needed.
Accuracy: Double-check the Public Key (wallet address) of the destination wallet to avoid accidentally merging your assets into the wrong wallet.
Launch the Scopuly mobile application on your device.
On the main app screen, locate the โWalletโ button at the bottom of the interface and tap it.
From the list of your connected wallets, choose the wallet you want to merge (the source wallet).
Once youโve selected the source wallet, locate the wallet menu icon (represented by three horizontal dashes). Tap on this menu icon.
A menu will appear with various options. Select โSettingsโ.
In the Settings window, tap on the โAccount Mergeโ option.
A new window will open, prompting you to enter the Public Key (wallet address) of the destination wallet. This is where your assets will be transferred.
Double-check the accuracy of the entered address.
After entering the destination wallet address, tap the โMerge Accountsโ button.
A confirmation window will appear, asking if youโre sure you want to merge the selected wallet. Recall that this action is not reversible.
If youโre certain about proceeding, tap the โOKโ button.
After a short processing time, you should see a message confirming that the wallet merge was successful.
The source wallet will be removed from your wallet list, and its assets will be transferred to the destination wallet.
