How to add your wallet to Aldebo
Select an account import method:
You will now be presented with two options to import your account:
Create a new Aldebo account: This option is suitable if you haven’t used Albedo before and you don’t have an existing Stellar wallet.
Import an account: This option allows you to connect an existing Stellar account using its private key.
Understanding the role of Albedo:
Once you have familiarized yourself with this information, click “Proceed>>” to continue.
Here we will focus on importing an existing account:
Import an existing account (using the private key):
Click the “Import Account” button.
A field will appear prompting you to enter the private key.
How to get Secret Key🔑(Security Reminder): Handle the private key very carefully. Never give it to anyone or any website. Instructions on how to access the private key in Scopuly (if necessary) can be found in our separate guide :
Once you have securely entered your private key, click the “Next” button.
Customize your Albedo password:
Create a strong and memorable password for your Albedo account. This password will be different from your Scopuly login credentials.
Confirm your Scopuly account:
You will see a message prompting you to confirm the use of your Scopuly account.
Click the “Confirm using MyAccount” button.
Enter the password created for your Albedo account in the field provided.
The connection is successful:
After successful confirmation, you will receive a message that your wallet has been successfully connected to Albedo via Scopuly. Congratulations. You have now connected your Stellar wallet to Albedo, providing a more universal experience in the Stellar ecosystem. Remember that security is a priority and never share your private key with unauthorized parties.
