The concept of merging accounts:

Merging accounts simplifies your wallet management by combining the balances of two accounts. Before merging, make sure you remove any Trustlines associated with the source account.

Steps to merge accounts on Scopuly:

Get access to your Scopuly wallet:

• Launch the Scopuly platform and click on the “Wallet” tab. You can also access your wallet directly using this link: "Wallet".

  

Open your wallet settings:

• Locate the menu icon on the wallet page (three horizontal lines).

• Click on this icon to open a drop-down menu.

• From the menu, select “Settings”.

  

Navigate to the “Account Merge” section:

• From the settings menu, find the “Merge Accounts” section.

  

Entering the destination account address:

• A field will appear to enter the public address of the destination account into which you want to merge the assets of the source account.

• It is critical to ensure that you enter the correct destination account address.

Confirmation and Merge:

• After entering the destination address, click the “Account Merge” button.

• Scopuly will display a confirmation message reminding you that this action is permanent.

• If you are absolutely sure to proceed, click “OK” to begin the merge process.

  

The merge was successful:

After the accounts are successfully merged, Scopuly will display a confirmation message that the merge is complete. Congratulations!!! You have successfully merged your accounts in Scopuly, consolidating your assets and native balance in the selected target account.
