How to send Stellar assets to a Federation Address📤

Steps to send Stellar assets to a Federation address on Scopuly:

Access your Scopuly wallet:

• Launch the Scopuly platform and click on the “Wallet” tab. You can also access your wallet directly at this link: "Wallet".

  

Start the sending process:

• Locate the “Send” button on your Scopuly wallet page.

• Click on this button to start the asset transfer process.

  

Select the asset and amount:

A new window will appear to customize the transfer details.

• In the first drop-down menu, select the wallet from which you want to make the transaction.

• In the second dropdown menu, select the specific Stellar asset you want to send (e.g. XLM for lumens or any other token you own).

• In the field provided, enter the amount of the selected asset you want to send.

  

Specifying the recipient’s federation address:

• In the “Recipient Address” field, enter the name of the federation of the person to whom you are sending the assets.

The format usually resembles “usernamedomain*scopuly.com” (for example, “alicebrown*scopuly.com”).

Public key verification (important):

Once you enter a federation name, Scopuly will automatically display the corresponding public key associated with that name. It is very important to double check that the public key displayed matches the public key of the intended recipient before proceeding. This ensures that you are sending assets to the correct address.

Sending Asset:

• After confirming all details (asset, amount, recipient federation name, and associated public key), click the “Send” button.
