⚖️ How to Change Thresholds

Each operation on the Stellar network has a threshold level that determines the minimum signature weight required to authorize it. These thresholds help define how “important” each type of action is and how many signers must agree to allow it.
Scopuly (based on Stellar) uses three threshold levels:
Low — For minor actions such as trustlines, flags, and sequence bumps.
Medium — For general transactions like sending assets.
High — For sensitive actions such as adding/removing signers or changing thresholds.
Each threshold is a numeric value (0–255) and must be met or exceeded by the combined weight of all signing parties in a transaction.
In the MultiSig screen, find the “Thresholds” section.
Tap the “Edit” button.
You’ll see three fields:
Low — Used for trustline-related changes
Medium — For general transactions
High — For security settings like managing signers and thresholds
Enter new values according to your desired level of security.
Double-check your configuration — the total signer weight must equal or exceed the high threshold, or else you risk locking yourself out of admin actions.
Tap “Set Thresholds”.
Confirm changes in the pop-up window by pressing “Update Thresholds”, then press “OK” in the final confirmation prompt.
After a few seconds, you’ll receive a message: “Thresholds successfully updated.”
