Launch the Scopuly mobile application on your device.
There are two ways to access the payment section: - Directly: Tap on the “Payment” button at the bottom of the home page. - Via Wallet: Tap on the “Wallet” button at the bottom of the home page, then tap “Receive” within the wallet section.
In the “Payment” window, select “Request”. You’ll be presented with a form to fill out with the payment request details.
You’ll need to provide the following information:
Receiving Wallet: Select the wallet that will receive the assets.
Asset: Choose the Stellar-based asset that you want to receive (e.g., XLM, SCOP).
Amount: Enter the specific amount of the asset you want to receive.
Custom Amount (Optional): Tap on the “Settings” icon (gear) located near the “Amount” field. You can enable the “Custom Amount” option.
Custom Amount Explanation: If you enable this option, the payer (the person sending the payment) can edit the amount of the payment. This is useful for tipping, for example. Allow payers to decide how much they want to tip or for fundraisers, give donors the ability to contribute the amount they want.
Memo (Optional): You can include a memo with the payment request. A memo is a short text field that allows the payer to include additional information about the payment.
Carefully review all the information you’ve entered in the payment request form.
Ensure that the receiving wallet, asset, and amount are correct.
If everything is accurate, tap the “Create Payment Request” button.
A new window will open, providing you with options to share your payment request.
QR Code: A QR code will be displayed. The payer can scan this QR code using a Stellar wallet app to easily send the payment.
Payment Link: You’ll also have the option to copy or share a payment link. You can send this link to the payer via messaging apps, email, or other communication channels.
Once the payment is processed, the funds will be sent to the receiving wallet you specified in the payment request.
Accuracy: Double-check all the details of your payment request, especially the receiving wallet address and the amount, to avoid any errors.
Custom Amount Usage: Use the “Custom Amount” option appropriately, depending on whether you want the payer to be able to modify the payment amount.
Memo Importance: Utilize the memo field to provide clear and concise information to the payer, especially if it’s necessary for identifying the payment.
