✍️ Signing Transactions from Other Wallets

Let's say you've made a change that requires multiple signers to approve. How do you sign the transaction from other wallets?

Follow these steps:

  1. The Scopuly app allows you to scan a QR-code or copy a transaction encoded in XDR format.

  2. Once you’ve copied the XDR, go back to the main menu (tap the ☰ icon in the top left corner).

  1. Scroll down and tap “Sign Transaction.”

  2. Paste the XDR transaction into the input field. If you scanned a QR code, this field may auto-fill.

  3. Wait a few seconds. The transaction details will appear, showing:

  • Source Wallet

  • Transaction type (e.g., “Set Options — Master Weight (2)”)

  1. Scroll down to select the signer wallet that will approve the transaction.

  2. Tap “Sign.”

If the threshold isn’t yet met, repeat the process with another signer wallet:

  1. Choose a different wallet that has signing authority.

  2. Tap “Sign.”

Once the combined weights of all signers meet or exceed the threshold:

  1. Tap “Send to Network.”

  2. A confirmation prompt will appear. Tap “OK”.

  1. Wait for a success notification: “Transaction signed and sent successfully.”

Congratulations! You’ve now approved a multi-sig protected transaction.
