How to Create a new wallet in the App 🛠️

1. Open the Scopuly app and navigate to the wallet:

• Launch the Scopuly mobile app on your device.

• On the app’s home screen, find the “Wallet” button at the bottom of the interface and tap it.

  

2. Connect your wallet or create an account:

• You will be presented with your account details and a “Connect Wallet” button.

• Click on the “Connect Wallet” button.

3. Select “Create an account.”:

• A “Connect” window will appear with options to connect an existing wallet or create a new one.

• Click on the “Create Account” button to begin the wallet creation process.

4. Information about creating a wallet:

• A new window will open with brief information about creating a wallet. Take a moment to read through this information. Once you are ready, click the “Create Account” button.

5. Name your wallet and set a strong password:

• You will be prompted to name your wallet (this is optional, but it will help you differentiate between multiple wallets).

• Create a strong password for your wallet. It should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

• After entering your wallet name and password, click the “Next” button.

6. Bookmark your initial phrase:

• A new window will display your Seed Phrase (also known as your recovery phrase). This is an important 24-word phrase that will allow you to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.

• Click the “Copy Phrase” button to copy your Seed Phrase to your device’s clipboard.

Important: Store your Seed Phrase in a safe and secure place, preferably offline. Write it down on paper and store it in a safe place.

• Once you have securely stored your Seed Phrase, click the “I saved this phrase” button.

7. Confirm your starting phrase:

• A “Check Phrase” window will open where you will need to confirm your Seed Phrase.

• Type your Seed Phrase in the appropriate box, making sure the words are in the correct order.

• Click the “Check Phrase” button.

8. Agree to the terms and conditions and confirm:

• A new window will appear with important terms and conditions. These typically include: - Confirmation that Scopuly does not store your Secret key and is not responsible for the loss of your initial phrase. - Confirmation that you have securely stored your Seed Phrase, Secret key and password for recovery purposes.

• Read carefully and agree to the terms and conditions by checking the appropriate boxes.

• Click the “Confirm” button.

9. Successfully create a wallet and access:

• A window will appear confirming that your wallet has been successfully created.

• You will be prompted to copy your public key and secret key.

Important: The secret key, like the initial phrase, is very important for wallet recovery. Keep it in a safe place and never share it with anyone.

• Once you have copied and securely stored the Public Key and Secret Key, click the “Go to Wallet” button.

• You will be redirected to your wallet in the Scopuly app where you can view your balance and start managing your Stellar assets.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a secure Stellar wallet in the Scopuly mobile app. Remember to prioritize the security of your passphrase and secret key. These are the keys to accessing your digital assets.
