How to set the Federation Name for a Stellar address in the App⚙️

1. Navigate to the Wallet Section:

• Launch the Scopuly mobile application on your device.

• On the main app screen, locate the “Wallet” button at the bottom of the interface and tap it.

2. Select the Wallet:

• From the list of your connected wallets, choose the wallet for which you want to set a Federation name.

3. Access the Wallet Menu:

• Once you’ve selected the wallet, locate the wallet menu icon (represented by three horizontal dashes). Tap on this menu icon.

4. Open Settings:

• A menu will appear with various options. Select “Settings”.

5. Access Federation Name:

• In the Settings window, tap on the “Federation Name” option.

6. Enter Your Desired Federation Name:

• A new window will open, prompting you to enter your desired Federation name.

• Choose a name that is simple, memorable, and relevant to you or your organization.

• Format: Federation names typically follow the format “username*domain.com”. In Stellar, the domain is usually “stellar.org”, but since we are creating it using Scopuly, the domain will be “username*scopuly.com”.

7. Check Name Availability:

• After entering your desired Federation name, Scopuly will likely check its availability.

• Green Name: If the name is available, it will be displayed in green, and the “Set Federation Name” button will be active.

• Red Name: If the name is already taken, it will be displayed in red, and you’ll need to choose a different name.

8. Set Federation Name:

• If your chosen Federation name is available and the “Set Federation Name” button is active, tap the button to confirm.

9. Federation Name Set:

• A message will appear confirming that your Federation name has been successfully set for the selected wallet.
