How to create Claimable balance in the App

1. Access the Payment Section:

  • Launch the Scopuly mobile application on your device.

  • There are two ways to access the payment section: - Directly: Tap on the “Payment” button at the bottom of the home page. - Via Wallet: Tap on the “Wallet” button at the bottom of the home page, then tap “Send” within the wallet section.

2. Select “Claim”:

  • In the “Payment” window, select “Claim”. You’ll be presented with a form to fill out with the claimable balance details.

3. Complete the Claimable Balance Form:

You’ll need to provide the following information:

  • Source Wallet: Select the wallet from which you want to send the assets.

  • Asset: Choose the Stellar-based asset you want to send as a claimable balance (e.g., XLM, SCOP).

  • Amount: Enter the amount of the selected asset you want to send.

  • Recipient’s Address (Public Key): Enter the Public Key (wallet address) of the recipient who will be able to claim the balance. Double-check the accuracy of this address.

  • Claim Start Time (Optional): Set a time after which the recipient can start claiming the balance. If you leave this blank, the recipient can claim immediately.

  • Claim End Time (Optional): Set a time after which the recipient will no longer be able to claim the balance. If you leave this blank, there is no time limit.

  • Memo (Optional): You can include a memo with the claimable balance. A memo is a short text field that can be used to provide additional information to the recipient.

4. Claim Type Options:

  • Tap the “Options” button to access claim type settings.

  • You can select the type of claim: - Anytime: The recipient can claim the balance at any time (within the start and end time limits, if set). - After End Time: The recipient can only claim the balance after the specified end time. - Never: The recipient can never claim the balance. This option is typically used for specific advanced use cases.

5. Review and Confirm:

  • Carefully review all the details you’ve entered in the claimable balance form, including: 1.Source wallet 2.Asset 3.Amount 4.Recipient’s address 5.Claim start and end times (if set) 6.Memo (if included) 7.Claim type

  • If everything is correct, tap the “Send (Number)(Asset)” button. For example, if you’re sending 5 XLM, the button might say “Send 5 XLM.”

6. Final Confirmation:

  • A “Confirm” window will appear, summarizing the claimable balance details.

  • This is your last chance to verify the information before the claimable balance is created.

  • If you’re certain everything is accurate, tap the “Confirm and Send” button.

7. Claimable Balance Created:

After a short processing time, you will see a notification confirming that the balance due has been successfully created.

Important Reminders:

  • Recipient Awareness: Inform the recipient about the claimable balance and any specific instructions for claiming it, such as the claim start and end times.

  • Claiming Process: The recipient will need to use a Stellar wallet that supports claimable balances to claim the funds.

  • Unclaimed Funds: If the recipient doesn’t claim the funds within the specified timeframe (if an end time is set), you may be able to recover them.

  • Network Fees: Creating claimable balances incurs Stellar network transaction fees, which are deducted from your source wallet balance.

  • Address Accuracy: Double-check the recipient’s address to avoid sending the claimable balance to the wrong wallet.

Once you’ve created a Claimable Balance, the recipient will be able to claim it whenever they meet the specified conditions.
